How to measure
Use a soft tape measure.
Waist: around where you wear your trousers or belt, over light clothes.
Hip: around the fullest part of your bottom.
Or measure a pair of trousers that fits you well: lay them flat, measure across the top of the waistband and double it.
Sizes can differ a little between makers. If you are between two sizes, the bigger one is usually safer.
