Col Sassoso Lambrusco Grasparossa Cavicchioli 750ml Alc. 11%
The winery produces this sensational red wine from local tradition, the Grasparossa Malbo Gentile. The origin of the grapes falls in the IGR area of Emilia-Romagna. For the vinification, the grape of Lambrusco Grasparossa di Castelvetro, the last to ripen among the Modena Lambruscos, is harvested in the second half of October: after the alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts, the spontaneous refermentation takes place for 4-5 weeks.
COL SASSOSO Grasparossa di Castelvetro DOC Secco's features
The organoleptic analysis shows an intense ruby red color with violet reflections. The aroma is intense and wrapping, vinous, with a background of spices. The taste in the mouth is well structured, with an aroma of red fruits and a slightly astringent finish.
A wine that in addition to the classic combination with cold cuts, allows more refined combinations, thanks to its good structure; it can also be accompanied by pasta dishes with tasty sauces, such as meat sauce, with roasted red meat and medium-aged cheeses. The optimal serving temperature is 12ºC in a wide glass that promotes the spread of scented notes.
