The end of the input hose must be kept inside the liquid, not just on the surface.

When siphoning petrol, there must be no anti-theft petrol filter in the petrol tank.

Before using the siphon pump, the gas in the hose should be exhausted.

The greater the drop between the two containers, the greater the flow.
