Founded more than 40 years ago, La Marca is a cooperative representing 5,000 local winegrowers who farm more than 17,000 acres in the Veneto region of northern Italy. La Marca Prosecco is crafted in a clean, refreshing style with a delicate, floral palate and bright acidity. Made from the expressive Glera grape — found in the hillside vineyards of Italy’s Prosecco capital, Treviso — La Marca Prosecco is an elegant, luxurious sparkling wine that pairs beautifully with a variety of foods.
TASTING NOTES
Our La Marca Prosecco displays a pale, golden straw color, with a lively effervescence. It opens with aromas of fresh citrus, honey and white flowers. The palate is fresh and clean, with ripe lemon, green apple and grapefruit flavors, framed by mineral undertones. The finish is light, refreshing and crisp.
SERVING SUGGESTION
La Marca Prosecco has the charm to stand alone as an aperitif, but it also has the body and the acidity to match well with a range of fragrant and spicy dishes. Try it with seafood, mild cheeses, tomato-rich recipes, or fruit-based desserts.
