Material is very soft in texture but sturdy with well-enforced seams. Small imperfections in stitching are barely noticeable and only on the inside. Love these hat so much! This hat is amazing, it is so much higher quality than I was expecting for the cost! The brim is the perfect amount of drapey without flopping, and quite easy to adjust to get the perfect swoop. Looking forward to many dastardly garden parties, protected from the burning sun! Beautiful hat! The material and stitching is perfectly even all the way around. It was packaged so well that it wasn't remotely crumpled when it arrived! In the event it was, however, the seller provided directions on how to steam the hat.
